Zeus Network is an infrastructure project on Solana designed to bring Bitcoin liquidity into the Solana ecosystem. Its core idea is to make Bitcoin programmable by creating zBTC, a Solana-native representation of BTC that can move quickly and interact with DeFi. By pairing Bitcoin’s value with Solana’s speed, Zeus Network aims to unlock new cross-chain workflows and utility that neither chain can deliver alone.

Behind the scenes, the Zeus Program Library (ZPL) and a network of operators manage the minting/burning of zBTC and handle secure cross-chain verification. This setup allows Bitcoin deposits to be recognized on Solana without relying on centralized bridges. The architecture focuses on minimizing trust while maximizing interoperability, making it a potential building block for future BTC-enabled applications on Solana.

The ZEUS token powers the network’s internal economy: it underpins governance, contributes to network security through staking, and pays for various protocol actions. Rather than being a simple utility token, ZEUS functions as an incentive layer that keeps operators aligned and the system reliable. Its role grows as more developers and users interact with zBTC and the surrounding ecosystem.
