Session Token (SESH) powers the decentralized, privacy-first Session messaging ecosystem. It fuels features inside the app, from premium tools to future expansion of user-driven capabilities. By embedding the token directly into Session’s infrastructure, the project aims to ensure the network remains censorship-resistant and user-owned.

SESH also secures the Session network through staking, allowing node operators to earn rewards for supporting message routing and storage. This turns a normally invisible backend process into an openly incentivized, community-driven backbone. Staking aligns long-term participants with the network’s health and reliability.

Its tokenomics include a unique burn-and-remint model: fees paid within the ecosystem are burned and then algorithmically redistributed to reward pools and strengthen protocol-owned liquidity. This circular structure is intended to align actual app usage with long-term sustainability.
