Surface Series

SURFACE is an exploration of a subtle space where digital precision meets tactile expression through robotics assisted art creation, a generative art series transforming code into a sensory experience. The collection emerges from an intentional coexistence between algorithmic spontaneity and human intention—handpicked pigments to become data, shades translated into numerical poetry, and digital patterns gracefully morph into physical impressions on canvas. Each piece is a vivid negotiation, bridging the ethereal realm of code as scaffolding for the tangible texture of inks, inviting viewers to intimately reconnect with generative art through visual depth and the palpable craftsmanship of plotting, a skill I've meticulously honed over the past three years in my lab.

The artwork is plotted onto a 12.6 x 16.1 x 0.1 inch (318 x 410 x 3 mm) canvas panel, using high-quality Japanese pigments of gold, silver, and navy blue, applied over the synthetic resin painted cotton fiber canvas. Upon winning the auction on SuperRare or if your offer here on OpenSea get accepted, please contact me via X to confirm your preferred delivery address. The artwork will be shipped unframed from Tokyo, Japan, securely packaged and sent anywhere worldwide through Japan Post with tracking included. International shipping fees are included in the auction price.

The reverse side of the artwork is personally signed and chip embedded with my personal NFC tag, ensuring authenticity and provenance. This NFC tag provides easy and quick mobile-activated access to the ERC7160TL Transient Labs minting page, featuring the digital artwork's multi-metadata functionalities which will display the dynamic history of metadata revisions, tracking the artwork’s evolving digital identity from the day of minting forward.
