All images in this collection are AI generated images without exception. Here it does not matter how realistic they may look. They are all the product of my imagination. After doing many other things around the AI image generation, I picked up the theme of the lily surrounded by water effects again. However, the quality of the photos is not the end but the beginning of what I am now capable to do of. In this particular case of this collection, I deliberately made sure that the lilies were not too realistic. It should be a mix between photorealism and surreal-photorealism. This is a mini-series of selected photos showing certain effects.

The state of the art in AI image generation offers amazing possibilities when we are talking about the realisation of new ideas. From concept to realisation is a really short distance, as long as you are familiar with the technology behind it. The images in this collection are generated in two technically necessary steps. In the first step, a comparatively small image is generated, which is only of limited use according to the current state of technology. In the second step, the image is upscaled to its final size.

The main content or motif of each image is the lily. The lily can vary in form and color as well as size. The lily sometimes takes up more, sometimes less space in the overall picture. The lily grows out of the water, which is in motion. It is usually surrounded by circular waves. The lily is reflected on the churning surface of the water. The background is dark and only faintly discernible. The room seems to stretch endlessly into the depths. Where the light comes from to illuminate the scene can also only be guessed at.

There are round about one hundred species of different lilies. This variety of species lends itself to being combined with other effects. One particular effect that I am studying from time to time are water effects. The focus is always on ensuring that the images are as close to reality as possible. This is the really difficult part in AI image generation. Creating the illusion of real reality is the challenge. The viewer should ask himself the question, is it real, or is it not real after all.

There is only one single item of each photo in this collection. As the prompt used to generate the image is a trade secret, it is not possible to reproduce it exactly. For a reproduction, all settings would also have to be used exactly as I used them. And then there is the Random Seed, which must be known.

For this mini series I decided to use a square orientation. This places the lily in their various forms at the centre of the picture. Accordingly, the aspect ratio is 1:1. For the resolution I decided to use a resolution in the medium range. With 4096 x 4096 pixel, the images are not too small and not to large. Another advantage is that the file size of each image is smaller rather than larger.

If you like the photos I create, I would be very pleased if you would support my work. You can do that easily by buying an NFT of your choice. I use the proceeds from the sale of my AI-generated images, here and elsewhere, to buy new hardware and pay for other consumables. They also enable me to generate more beautiful images of good and high quality. Thank you very much in advance.
