Jakub is Czech artist, who graduated from Högskolan för Design och Konsthantverk in Gothenburg, Sweden. He shifted from product design to illustration focusing on brand identities and magazines. Inspired by artists like Kawase Hasui or Takahasi Shotei, he created four illustrations depicting contemporary Japan as he experienced it shortly before lockdown. Using contemporary artistic methods such as digital painting and NFT minting, this is his take on traditional Ukiyo-e paintings.
