My dad died of cancer in July 2019. And my best friend is dying of cancer. To be cancer free is the greatest wish in the world. Cancer destroyed my life and still does. February 4, 2023 was Cancer Day. So I drew this one, with love and tears. I hope that this is the work that gives the most joy and hope. May those who suffer from cancer feel loved. Our planet has cancer. We are part of the solution as well as the problem. We can all make an effort to change our way of consuming, and thus influence big companies to make efforts to adapt. Without manifesting, just changing. My hope of one day seeing this change is still alive and every time I look at this painting, my hope will never fade.
