This painting depicts a majestic Cuban scene of a row of palm trees near an un-named bay. Her continued commitment to detail is evidenced in the reflection of the cloud in the water. She has also said that the green sailboat herein is homage to Hemingway, who had a green motorboat that he named Pilar. This obscure and subtle reference to Hemingway is the subject of five of her other paintings.

Michelle's paintings are currently being shown at the Millennium Gate Museum in Atlanta, Georgia. Michelle's exhibition debuted on the 26th of June 2021 and will continue for the following months.
On the same day that Michelle's artworks debuted, the Cuban community of Atlanta came together at the Millennium Gate Museum to celebrate liberty for Cuba. This day was officially declared José Martí Day by the governor of Georgia. During this event, a statue of José Martí was revealed by the Martí Historical Society, Inc. with well-known guests Andy García and Enrique Chia. We hope this statue serves as a symbol representing hope for a free Cuba, and not just Cuba, but in all places... As if a signal fire from God declared to us what was to come for Cuba on July 11th, 2021.
