“Smoking Greens” is a series that depicts the impact of tobacco in a visual state. The viewer is drawn to the texture of tobacco which envelopes the smoking subject while green represents an environmental impact. The piece was inspired by the pop art movement in the 1960s. Environmental impact is represented by “tobacco textured acne” that envelopes the subject’s face.
