Congratulations and welcome to SuperRare, Edgar! Just as I have been fortunate to collect your work in the past, I hope many will join me as you begin minting your work on SuperRare and beyond. And that more will see in you and your work some of the things I have seen.

More people aligning with our unique visions is just a matter of time as we open more hearts and minds to possibilities. I am very proud that I was able to collect "Mutant Fire" nearly a year ago. I love the message and intention of this video which operates as a spell, as Edgar explains in the description. There's not a time I've watched and listened to this spell that I haven't felt deeply empowered. It has reminded me of the connections I can reach out through from within myself. And to own who I am! "Forever. Mutants!"

I've spent most of my life being made to feel ashamed for being different. "Weird" has often been leveraged as a weapon against me since I can remember, especially in childhood. Even now as an adult. The result of being cast off as weird has always felt isolating. Most dangerously, this result can make people compromise the best part of themself just to fit in. The power of this artwork, "Mutant Fire," is that it reverses this dark energy and makes me want to outwardly embrace and be proud of all the reasons I've been labeled as weird throughout my life. Too often, just because something is new and doesn't fit within another's framework, it's excused as "weird" out of ignorance or laziness. Don't have a bucket for this? Toss it into the "weird" bin! Assembling a new definition to fit within one's world view requires thoughtful work and often the passage of time to accumulate experiences. But ultimately, that's how progress comes into this world - slowly. By convincing others to open themselves to new possibilities and to evolve their own lexicon in order to honor and respect the new thing. Nothing is truly weird except that which one hasn't made time to understand.

Edgar, the last several months as I've been creating Etch and Lift with Deca, you're an artist and friend who I've hoped would appreciate what Etch really is on the multiple dimensions of potential and possibility that it's emerging into existence into. So I'm very happy to make for you and gift to you this Etch on the joyous occasion of your acceptance to SuperRare! Thank you for putting into this world energies that inspire opening.
