I made this image as I sat on the shore of a silent Loch Lomond, waiting for the sun to appear. As it climbed up through the basin of the hills in the background, the mirror-like reflection became more dramatic when a thin layer of steam fog began to form as cooler land air drifted across the warmer surface of the water. It was a perfectly still & serene moment.

This NFT is part of Reflections by Concurrence Collective – a fine art landscape photography collection dedicated to reflections found in nature. With this collection, we have returned with our shared passion for capturing the natural beauty of the world. Reflections follows on from our debut project Frozen Planet, the first-ever photography collective on Sloika.
Reflections is our second collection and follows on from our debut, Frozen Planet – the first-ever photography collective project released on Sloika.
When Frozen Planet sold out within a few hours, we thought about what we could do differently. We all agreed we wanted to go bigger! We reached out to the landscape photography community with an open call to submit work then followed up with a lengthy curation process. We are excited to be able to bring more artists into the collective – growing from 24 to 30.
