Betobeto-san (べとべとさん) comes from the onomatopoeia of footsteps caused by geta (wooden sandals), as well as the honorific suffix san. Featuring a huge mouth and a ball-shaped body, his little feet would make him almost adorable. Shy by nature, it still feeds on the fear of its victims.
