The challenges of the past few years have closed some doors for me, yet opened many others, so I’m calling 2022 the year of second chances. Every day is a chance to start over, to find a new opportunity and take it. What better day to embrace that idea than 2/22/2022? This date occurs on the 22nd day of Chinese New Year, the year of the Tiger. The number 2 is considered highly auspicious in China, so the date 2/22/2022 could be the luckiest of all days.

As an artist, I look for connections and take chances often, which I think is a common thread for many of us in the crypto community. We look beyond the norm and imagine a future of possibilities. So I created this Blueprint with the mindset of how we can make meaning from the hand we are dealt.

The number 2 represents a pair in Chinese culture, and many consider the date 2/22/2022 especially lucky for love. Each edition includes a sidekick animal, with symbolic characteristics which may represent you, someone close to you, or someone who could become significant to you in 2022. Symbols for prosperity, luck, longevity, and double happiness alternate in the center.

Rarities for this Blueprint include the Golden Tiger and the Jade Tiger. The five traditional Elements are represented by a pattern in the lower right, with Water as a rarity for the Element of 2022. Two legendary editions feature the Yin Yang figures of Tiger and Dragon, with the Chinese knot.

I tend to make connections everywhere. Thus, I'm reminded of this quote from the Roman philosopher Seneca, “Luck Is What Happens When Preparation Meets Opportunity.” Let’s prepare for a whole year of 2nd chances, starting with the luckiest day on 2/22/2022!
