The white orca, also known as the "ghost" orca, is an exceptionally rare phenomenon in the wild. These orcas exhibit a condition called leucism, which is a partial loss of pigmentation resulting in white or light-colored skin. Unlike albinism, which is a complete lack of melanin, animals with leucism still have normal eye color.

There have been a few documented cases of white orcas, with one of the most famous being a male named Iceberg, sighted off the coast of Russia in 2010. White orcas stand out starkly against their black-and-white counterparts, making them unique and captivating creatures. They've fascinated researchers and marine enthusiasts alike, prompting further study into the genetics and behavior of these rare animals.

This phenom Moment was off the Coast of Southern California on a privater charter Boat. We was out looking for Humpback Whales, Fin Whales, and any wildlife to document. We was not on any assignment but simply enjoying the Sunshine.

The odds of this moment happening was slim to none. Especially being in California. As it stands I have been on a very high frequency level. One of which makes me not give up on creating Art. At times we do get gassed out from living out a suitcase.

When rewards like this occur it brings great joy. Reasoning behind creating art and capturing moments that can't be replicated.
