This is an original design and creation inspired by the strawberry squid. At the end of 2021 two images of this beautiful creature went viral so I decided to personify it recreating its entrancing colors, shimmer and texture on my face.

Face Cards is a collection of 24 hand painted makeup art self portraits by Laurel Charleston, released as collectible editions on the ethereum blockchain.

The 200 editions live on a custom ERC-1155 smart contract owned and operated by Laurel.

The makeup looks in this collection continue to redefined the beauty industry, pushing the limits of what makeup can achieve.
