The first time I found myself photographing the colors in Colorado was a time when I was learning how to photograph. This trip taught me that a big part of doing photography is planning before you go out.

I didn't research this trip, for if I did I would have arrived a week earlier, and stayed a week longer to get better fall colors and weather. But I enjoyed it and I went back the next year and got different images for I viewed the world differently.

This view is one of my favorites of the beautiful mountains of Colorado.
