Don't be fooled by the fact that Anko is a chicken: he may be the bravest being in all of Crypta. Then again, they do say there's a fine line between bravery and stupidity. Anko was a late hatcher. Literally, he didn't hatch from his egg until his teenager years. Since he was so delightful, friendly, and lovable, he got along well with everyone. He has a way of making even the meanest, nastiest bullies pat him on the shell and tell him he's A-OK. Then again, that doesn't earn you very much respect. Despite Anko's slow start, his dream never faltered: he wanted to be trained by the master of Pluj Swos and become a world-class warrior. The day he gained enough weight…whether or not it was muscle or fat is irrelevant…and blasted through his shell, he headed to make his dreams come true. And while he didn't get lessons from the master of all masters, he learned a thing or three. Then again, skills are only as good as talent. Yes, Anko is a clumsy, top-heavy, overly-confident rooster. But every time his enemy wants to turn him into fried chicken, he manages to fall backward into success. Is he undefeated? Of course not. But the biggest mistake Iratus will make is underestimating Anko.
