Bomb Story: Artist Joshua Vides collaborated with us on this Adam Bomb, stylized in his signature form. Vides’ origins stem from streetwear, having gotten his start at The Hundreds and then founding his own brand CLSC. Today, Vides is regarded in the next school of contemporary artists, having worked with MCA Chicago, Fendi, and BMW. His Reality to Idea perspective of the world has inspired many to see their surroundings differently.| Background Story: The foundation of The Hundreds is streetwear, and at the foundation of streetwear is the graphic T-shirt. From our beginnings in the Fall of 2003, The Hundreds has relied on the tubular, open-ended cotton of a boxy, blank as our canvas. This is the same T-shirt that Bobby and Ben wore growing up, mixing and matching them 3 for $10 at the local swap meets. The independent skate brands of the 1990s, the streetwear brands of the early 2000s, all co-signed the same cut. Even when the clothing industry chased ringspun apparel or fashion silhouettes, The Hundreds held to the inspirational baseline. Our solid backgrounds are hues from the original swatch card that we built the brand off of.
