Regina was born in a small village in Cameroon. Her mother died after giving birth to her. For this reason, she was raised by her Grandma and father. When she was 9 years old, her father decided to move to NYC in the hope of giving her a better life. Unfortunately, he dies shortly after, leaving his daughter heartbroken.

Regina's childhood was hard; she was constantly bullied for her heterochromia and discriminated against for her origins. Her Grandma, a very strong woman, always tried to pull her up. She named her Regina, telling her that she was smart and special, the queen of her reign and that her heterochromia was something to be proud of.

She starts to work very young as a hairdresser and immediately falls in love with the craft, becoming one of the best in the city. Nothing was stopping Regina, her dream to open her own salon.
