रानी - Queen is the piece of युद्ध - शतरंज series.

The series is a fusion of Ancient and Modern Chess in Indian art style, with every single pattern hand drawn.

Earlier Queens were not part of Battles and as well as Chess. Instead on chess board there used to be minister. But later when introduced, they proved to be the most powerful and strong warriors. The journey from being enslaved, dictated lifestyle by males and over-worked, to the one ruling the world hasn't been easy and marks an important transition in our history. This artwork is created to appreciate all those efforts and battles they faced through ages. The crown at the back shows changing roles of women life

• Manikarnika - Queen of Jhansi- first women in history to fight for independence
• Mai Bhago - Sikh women who led Sikh soldiers against Mughals in 1705.
• Queen Velu Nachiyar - she devised the first suicide bombing in history with her commander
