Maya had been created by Dr. Gene Splicer who was adamant about strengthening the ranks of the Resistance. He had discovered the Human Alien Friendship League’s DNA and realized that Maya would possess all of the leader's unique abilities and intelligence, which would make her a valuable asset to the Resistance’s army.
Maya's abilities were unique, even among the league's leaders. This made her an invaluable asset in the Resistance's fight against the HALF's advanced technology.
We have met the Invaders. We have flown in their spaceships. We have formed the Human-Alien Friendship League.
