She epitomises the beauty of an Imbali (flower) so effortlessly. She glows with so much confidence and she beams with abundant happiness.
Young women are known to be beautiful and pure, just like flowers, all beautiful, and not to be touched in any manner or fall from their tree, for they are beautiful and pure until they get engaged in intimate affairs, a flower loses purity once taken off the tree.

The collection was inspired by the need to echo the beauty of our Swazi culture and the significance of the role played by young Swazi women in ensuring that our culture and traditions are well kept and relayed effectively to following generations.
The series focuses on the Imbali (young girls) traditional regalia (ema hiya) as seen in the images and dances such as Ingadla and Ummiso as well as their purity.
I also shifted focus towards the traditional neckpiece called Emagcebesha that compliment the beauty of the traditional garments and I show the Emafahlawane which are used for dance.
