Mystic beach is one of the first places I visited when I came to Vancouver island years ago. I snapped a few long exposure shots, but they didn't turn out to be that great. I had to go back to that spot over 10 times until I finally managed to get a composition and weather conditions I was satisfied with. I'm usually not a big fan of popular spots as I find it difficult to shoot when there are too many people walking by, so it was nice to have the opportunity to have a moment alone to listen to the waves while taking photos away from the campsite.
