So much of the world we live in these days is temporary. The clothes we wear. The music we listen to. Hell, even the houses we live in. They're all fleeting. Ephemeral.

This is why I've always been fascinated by the ocean. Unlike so many of the disposable elements of today's society, the crashing of the ocean's waves is one thing that has remained constant since the beginning of time.

Each wave in this never-ending cycle includes a unique moment in time that, once gone, is gone forever, and impossible to reproduce.
