Prologue

"The Data War of 2056 left Null City in ruins.

Once a hub of innovation and technology, the Scandinavian region of Vårland was now a shadow of it's former self. Eleven months had passed since the region was descended upon by a militant group known simply as "Zero", their primary objective to annex Null City.

Just past midnight on January 2, 2056, a massive cyberattack was detected by telecommunication technicians. The cyberattack successfully seized control of phone, internet and television communications by use of ransomware and DDos attacks on several government entities.

Following the initial attacks, the Zero began moving contractors, vehicles, supplies, and weaponry into the city, while forcing civilians to flee their homes to surrounding areas within the Vårland region."
