Each passenger on the train can be compared to our ambition that we want to reach our goal as quickly as possible. But when time passes by, when our commitment declines and our inspiration falls into decay, the passengers on that train gradually disappear. Until the end, only an empty train arrives at the desolate terminal.
"A Trap of Time" is a collection of artistic photographs created with a pair of images taken from two different hemispheres of the world, Switzerland and Thailand, by a superimposing technique to create an abstract emotional dimension. The artist intended to depict the interrelation between man-made invention, the earth, and time through his artworks. From that concept, reveal the image of decaying old-fashion trains taken in Thailand overlapped with the background picture of the Alps in Switzerland. The creator of this photo series wanted to point out that all human-created things on this planet, regardless of how advanced the technology of each era, definitely becomes obsolete as time passes by and will be swallowed up by the trap of time eventually. The only thing left on earth is what the world created by itself.
