Our life is like a journey. We have a destination that lies ahead. But many times, we may feel that we have no purpose in life. Everything freezes due to a lack of inspiration. Then, the journey of our lives is like being frozen. So, as time goes by for the ice to melt, we will find that the dream of reaching that goal has decayed with melting ice already.
"A Trap of Time" is a collection of artistic photographs created with a pair of images taken from two different hemispheres of the world, Switzerland and Thailand, by a superimposing technique to create an abstract emotional dimension. The artist intended to depict the interrelation between man-made invention, the earth, and time through his artworks. From that concept, reveal the image of decaying old-fashion trains taken in Thailand overlapped with the background picture of the Alps in Switzerland. The creator of this photo series wanted to point out that all human-created things on this planet, regardless of how advanced the technology of each era, definitely becomes obsolete as time passes by and will be swallowed up by the trap of time eventually. The only thing left on earth is what the world created by itself.
