LOG19 Today I arrived at Varosha and I’m still alive. The gatekeepers were surprisingly friendly, in fact, they were not suprised by my arrival at all! Moreover, the path from our settlement leading to Varosha was virtually trouble-free. This made me think, did our Elders exaggerate the dangers of wandering outside our settlement?

I took a picture of the towering buildings. Not all of them are occupied, I’ve been told. Salaminia Tower, that’s where I’ll be staying, now to find an empty room. I’d like to stay at one of the top floors, It’s an experience I’ve never had before.

I think I am beginning to like this, to be outside, to explore new worlds, meet new people and see their progress, their ways of life. I must now investigate this elusive man that the trader was talking about. He is currently my only link to this tape. But I’m in no rush, Varosha seems like a lovely place.
