“Autumn Rhythm”, also known as “Number 30” is one of Pollock’s most notable works and one of the most iconic examples of his drip style. It was painted in 1950 as part of a group of paintings. The actual piece is one of Pollock’s largest works, measuring 17 feet wide and 8 feet high.
Pollock numbered his paintings so that he didn’t distract the viewer with titles and, as he put them “implied meanings.” Likewise, the Pollock Punk collection lacks formal titles, instead simply numbering the pieces based on the corresponding and underlying punk image.
There are 30 corresponding punks for this Pollock drop.
Owners of Pollock Punks will receive a link to download the signed original, high resolution artwork.
Each one is unique - 1 of only 500!
Pollock Punks is an Original Digital Art Project on the Ethereum Blockchain paying homage to Jackson Pollock and his most iconic works.
Pollock was a master of the “action painting” technique in which he used frenetic and chaotic movements to scatter paint across the entirety of the surface he was painting. This “all-over” style of painting as it was also known was groundbreaking and formed the foundation of the abstract expressionism movement.
Pollock created an artistic revolution.
Now, in 2021, we pay tribute to his bold ingenuity with our own NFT Art!
