Rough cut
I was rolling the gem under the lights and I instantly noticed it hides various landscape like forms. Series of Macro photos of Amethyst gem made back in January 2015. Fist time ever exposed on Opensea February 2021.

Shot by Adam Rakicevic with MC Carl Zeiss Jena DDR 10425627 Pancolar electric 1.8 50mm macro extended on Canon EOS 60D body. Lighting based on Led and Tungsten lights combination. I certify authenticity and ownership of digital photos by owning .cr2 raw files, and exif data of published photos.
When observed under a macro lens crystals reveal whole world of mesmerizing abstract geometrical shapes, edges and cuts of semiprecious Amethyst gem. Photos are made in continual unrepeatable process, in search for interesting details and composition under narrow focus area. All of it formed long time ago under huge amount of pressure, but no one is actually sure HOW the purple color and geodes are formed. It is more than symbolic for my career and it has strong emotional value for me. Each photo of crystal is like reminding token of celebration of who I’ve became under pressure long time ago, and opportunity that has been given to participate in #NTF space right NOW.
