Hawaii Surf Legend - Signature Series - NFT collectible #1 of 3 featuring Sunny Garcia - This moment is dear to my heart and was photographed just before Sunny began facing a major mental and physical struggle. Growing up and being a young surfer while watching Sunny in his prime was inspiring and exciting moment in my childhood. His current decline in mental health and battles with depression have turned a surfing legend into a man in need of love and support in his darkest of times. At this moment it is uncertain of his condition but I honor him with this photograph that I captured moments after he left the water in Waimea.
This 3 part collection includes rare portraits of three Hawaii Surf Legends from three generations. The young and current John John Florence, the legendary icon of the 80s and 90s Sunny Garcia and the historic Clyde Aikau. All three are honored and encapsulated in a 3d virtual plexi frame and feature images captured by award winning photographer Adam Palumbo.
