18 years ago (October 1st 2003) Poesy underwent her second spine surgery to remove tumours that disabled her from the waist down. It was the second time that she was battling paralyses caused by tumours in her spine. She finally sustaining long term immobility in 2003, in a form of hidden disabilities. 20% of first sales proceeds will be donated to the Helping Angels Tuesday Art program that trains young artists in the underserved and marginalized community of stateless immigrants. This project is a collaboration between Poesy and Yayasan Chow Kit (Chow Kit Foundation) since 2012.
30% of first sales proceed goes to the photographer.
Poesy has worked with the camera since she was a teenager. She started her modeling career when she was selected as the Levi’s 501 girl for Malaysia & Singapore at 14 years old. That marked the first of many modeling contracts for nearly 2 decades. She continues to be photographed by many international photographers for artistic collaborations.
20% of sales proceeds (duration 11/11/21 to 22/02/22) will be donated to the Helping Angels Tuesday Art program that trains young artists in the underserved and marginalized community of stateless immigrants. This project is a collaboration between Poesy and Yayasan Chow Kit (Chow Kit Foundation) since 2012.
