A 1998 Grand Cru Chardonnay from the Chassagne-Montrachet sub-appellation in the Côte du Beaune region of Burgundy. This wine is produced using biodynamic practices used by this winery for decades, tying the wine to the iconic terroir and traditions of the region. Made with the utmost care, these grapes were hand harvested and meticulously hand sorted before pressing and fermentation in French oak barrels creating only 202 bottles. This wine is the epitome of world-renowned Burgundy Chardonnay, yellow-gold in colour from age with aromas of lemon, ripe pear and pineapple, honey, almond, butter and hints of baking spices. Deliciously creamy on the palate with a wonderful freshness and long finish, creating a very elegant wine.
