Capricorn Sisters: War, Plague, Earthquake I painted this composition in February of 2020, nearly the beginning of the year. The world at that time was affected a lot by three sisters; war-plague-earthquake. But as an artist, I prefer to think of them and shape them as something desirable, even a bit dangerous, or an unbalanced fight of ugly and beautiful. So, the bridge between global depression and a painting is thought to re-interpretation of events. In this digital re-interpretation, the pixelated + saturated is exposed to create a different language whose evolution stands for the permanence of transience, and the meaning shifts towards time.
