Even the hardest adventure and night alone in the mountains pays off by keep going and not giving up on hope. The night before this picture I struggled with me in a tent, if I will made it. The hike was damn hard and the evening rainy and very stormy. For the first time I felt lonesome. But after the shivering night I stepped out of the tent, packed my stuff and went to a viewpoint to have a look over this Dreamland like landscape. I realized the clouds move and some sky was finally visible. I took the first pictures and I new that everything was worth I got through.

This collection of six 1/1 photos gives you an impression of the Blue Hour and nine different kind of moods happening during this magical time of the day. The fact that the blue hour is the transition between the day and the night, it can be called the 'Daughter of the Night'
About the artist:
Christian Burth is a physiotherapist and freelance landscape photographer from the South of Germany. When he got his hands on his first SLR camera in 2014, he knew it would be a love forever. Soon he was fascinated by the massive mountain ranges of Switzerland as well as all the beautiful landscapes the world offers to us.
He is passionate about bringing the emotions of nature to the viewer of his photographs in the way he perceived them on location. His high-contrast and colorful editing style allows him to make this perception a reality.
