I found this particular picture during the fall of 2015, along the "Strada delle Vette" (Road of the Peaks), a narrow service road that snakes through some of the highest mountain peaks in Calabria, in the South of Italy. This road during the winter becomes a ski track, but the rest of the year is a prime access to a world of incomparable beauty.
