It is a statement against visual conformity expected in the modern world which she perceives as a negative influence, as an unhealthy form of control.

The second series of 8 portraits aims to showcase how an emotive face is always captivating, while an aesthetically perfect face can be mundane. This series shows self portraits with changes in facial expressions involving the eyebrows and the eyes.
