Ft. (Angry) Naomi - Shot on 12/1/2018
ANGRY NAOMI! My first shoot with Naomi! We have worked together several more times since. She is a naturally talented artist who graduated from the College of Creative Studies in Detroit. She is also Lighting McQueen’s biggest fan.

Windows is a polaroid series I started in 2018 and continues to this day. Taking inspiration from the "window shot" in European filmmaking, which is the final setup of the day, these polaroids represent the last look of the day and a window into the subject's personality. Before starting this series, I had never shot instant film before. The idea only came to me after my wife found her vintage Onestep camera and considered tossing it (not thinking it still worked) before I quickly interjected. Windows #1 is the very first polaroid I ever shot. Unfortunately, my wife's camera that started this all was stolen—that hurt. The camera was easily replaceable but not the sentiment. I'm dedicating this collection to my stolen camera, without you none of this would have been possible, OG.
