In the heart of Barcelona you will find the beautiful ‘Carrer del Bisbe’, (Bishop’s Street) with its stunning Gothic bridge known locally as ‘El Pont del Bisbe‘, (The Bishop’s Bridge).

This mysterious bridge has been associated with several local legends and superstitions. It’s hardly surprising that most of these relate to the gruesome skull and dagger motif which decorates the underside of the bridge.
