We are all waiting for something, whether it is life, death, or love. In this collection of 140 works created over a 7-month period, I capture the people who are a part of my daily life, ordinary Cubans who, as human beings, look to the sky in search of everything and nothing. The Waiting project's foundation is built on a kind of record, a sociological commentary on the expectations or desires of a large group of people with whom I interact in my broad social context. The priority analysis on which this proposal is based is the close relationship between the individual and the epochal dilemma.
