This series of block-print style nudes are a digital nod to Matisse….a teen inspiration of mine.
The internet recently decided that one of them WAS an actual Matisse (thanks internet art connoisseurs 😊) and they started popping up for sale everywhere signed by Matisse, which is CRAZY because his hand-writing is messier than mine….oh yeah, and he died in 1954!
The #NotMatisse collection is a series of hand-illustrated artworks. In total, there will only ever be an edition of 100 #NFTs (of each image in the series).
