Technique On coarse gray-toned paper, drawn with black graphite of different intensities and digitally post-processed (the texts scanned and mounted).
Literature The sheeps began to jump over the fence in an orderly fashion. One, another, and another, one more time; and when he was about to fall asleep..., wham! his eyelids went up like two impatient blinds. Why? Well, because the one who should be the last to jump stopped in front of the obstacle; sh refused to jump it, come on. Of course, this flagrant breach of his obligation made him startle and, in short, not sleep a wink. So, fed up and desperate, he took a shortcut and poked himself a benzodiazepine to which sheeps, as everyone knows, are tremendously sensitive. But before jumping in, forced by the tyranny of the drug, she told him quietly: “It is very difficult to convince myself that being a slave is correct. Tomorrow you will have to take double the dose”.
PORTADAS de REALIDAD is a collection of the artists Borrallo and Garijo made up of 21 art works that reflect the existing problems in today's society. Product of 2 years of joint work, it constitutes a solid work in an unpublished format.
The integration of different layers —the plastic layer, the literary one, the technological one, the temporal/social one and the market layer—, makes this a new multi-expression, multi-dimensional format aimed at the investment market.
This work is intended to be a reference; a work that explains itself and sells itself.
In this new market vision, the client does NOT buy an art work, the client invests in an art work. In addition to acquiring one of these works, the client also participates in the history of the creation of an artistic movement where different disciplines are integrated and which allows artists, gallery owners and collectors to conceive art from an innovative point of view beyond the mere creation. A new way of generating value.
