This Starbucks in Austin, TX, was one of the first to open in the state, and the very first that I photographed in the summer of 1999. I used to hang out and work remotely from this store, near the University of Texas campus, and I have fond memories of those months I spent in the city.

This particular photo is not from 1999, but rather 2006, February 11, when I took advantage of a beautiful day to improve upon many of my Austin photos.
