“Dad,” A young boy leaning backward on a blanket with his father was looking up into the sky. “What are those?”
“Stars.”
“Stars?”
“Yes, giant suns that glimmer far away from a distance.”
“Do you think we can one day get to one of those stars?”
“Yes.” The father looked at his son.
“Tomorrow?”
“Not yet, but one day for sure.”
“Oh….”The boy was contemplating what his father had said. Then he glanced up at his father with curiosity in his eyes. “Are there things out there that will eat a star?”
“Yes, there are.”
“What?! How?”
“There are beings out there that would gobble up a star.”
“Can we stop it?”
The father shook his head, “it's part of life.”
The boy frowned, sighing.
Screeeeechhhh! Back you fiend! Excuse me sirs and madames. I was taking care of a few new rare collections that have arrived. But, unfortunately, they aren't quite tamed. Honestly, I would be a fool to believe that can be tamed.
