1/1 - The first large scale composition painting I created in 2016 to coincide with the first synaesthetic projection and sound installation I ever made. The start of the journey. Original piece was 160x140cms, installation exhibited in Norwich, London and Madrid. 2016. Acrylic, oil, spray paint, ink, varnish, wax and acetone wash on canvas.
A collection of works that explore the synaesthetic translation of sound and emotional responses of sensory perception into painting form. All original paintings, cover image is "I Am Unbalanced But I Feel My Soul". The majority of these pieces have been overpainted so now exist as new compositions as this is a huge part of my practice, amending and developing pieces to suit my current mood; so to give these timestamps an immortal place on the blockchain feels right.
