CHAOS//LOOP_04 is a unique artwork by Christof Babinsky.

With CHAOS//LOOP, so the title of the NFT collection, Babinsky challenges the world of digital art by capturing art content that is created in the physical world, but only made possible by using a digital recording device. The artist uses the medium of the digital camera, pointing at its own projection to create an infinite feedback loop, that creates unpredictable creations formed by chaos. The artistic principle is based on the idea of initial ignition, which gives the camera input for random mixtures of color and form. This can be a work of art of its own or appropriation art lent by the Italian (Venetian) painter Tiziano, Jackson Pollock, or the flame of a lighter. The result is chaotic and hypnotic patterns that emerge autonomously and coalesce into an artistic work that Babinsky selects through careful analysis. NFT art is often based on complex digital algorithms that form moving imagery. Babinsky reverses the process: CHAOS //LOOP is based on the parameters of physics in our physical world and uses a system that can only exist due to modern digital camera sensors and its feedback loop.
Crucially, analog form and digital medium come together in a way that cannot do without the other.
