Free thought is tolerated but if you are like Hito, you have zero social credits. Pulsing blue force fields prevent drones from penetrating Hito’s perimeter. Authorities are mostly uninterested in his activities since he is marginalized by the credit scores. Hito’s Free Thought Cafe is the fourth image in the Future State series. This series imagines life in a dystopian world in the 22nd century. In this world all easily mined resources have been captured. Mostly everything is recycled. A virus has locked down the population in tall towers where everyone is now forced to live. Drones monitor and control movement throughout the world. Access to “better” levels is granted based on social credit scores. The hologram of earth in the background depicts a virus spread. The spread is based on real data of active cases of Covid-19.
