Living in between land and water, this Scottish wee tree symbolises for me resilience and the ability to weather the storms that life throws at us like no other.
I have been photographing this tree almost every year since 2018, finding it on land or immersed in the water, depending on the Loch’s level and on the weather. Like us, the tree is sometimes under a beautiful sky, sometimes must weather a storm; no matter the weather, it’s still there, weathering the storm.
This NFT comes with a signed metal print and funds the planting of 500 trees.

On Foundation - Resilience is one of the most amazing human qualities. Resilience helps us go through the hardest times of our lives. Resilience helps us go back to our feet when adversities knock us down.
Single trees growing against all odds in the world's harshest conditions, to me, perfectly symbolise resilience.
Resilience is dedicated to my Grandma, who helped make me the artist I am today and, at 96, is for me an amazing example of strength and resilience.
