IXS, short for IX Swap, is an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token powering a platform built to bring real-world assets (RWAs) onto the blockchain. The project aims to create a compliant bridge between traditional finance and decentralized markets by allowing tokenized securities and RWAs to be traded through automated market makers (AMMs). Think of it as Uniswap, but with regulatory guardrails for real-world assets.

The IXS token serves as the backbone of the IX Swap ecosystem, providing utility for governance, staking, and transaction fees. Holders can participate in decisions shaping the platform’s evolution, while stakers earn rewards for securing liquidity and supporting compliant asset trading. It’s designed to align incentives between participants and the broader mission of regulated decentralization.

A standout feature of IXS is its buyback and burn mechanism, which uses a portion of platform revenues to repurchase tokens and permanently remove them from circulation. This approach introduces a self-sustaining economic loop aimed at long-term scarcity and value retention. It’s a nod to traditional equity buybacks, reinvented for decentralized finance.
