The first X Figures dropped in June 2025 to huge community reception. A 404-piece collection re-imagining XCOPY artworks as digital figures, exploring personality through form. The project went on to generate over 230 ETH in secondary volume.

Both XCOPY and AMADON work in glitch, CC0, and layered conceptual language. XCOPY’s work feels diaristic and internal, circling themes of control and finance. AMADON’s lens turns outward, toward political resistance, surveillance, and defiance.
The bulk of the collection is inspired by AMADON's NOISE collection of CC0 glitch textures. I was inspired to create with relative freedom inspired by the titles and design of each NOISE piece. Within the pieces created from the NOISE collection the X FIGURES design aesthetics were key to finding the visual language to base the sketches and eventual designs of each piece from. The inherent rarity within the collection is controlled by the allocations to each noise texture, as well as some additional factors. Each NOISE texture features a 1/1 rare piece that is inspired by Patrick Amadon's own unique 1/1 NOISE pieces. These carry less of the X FIGURES design aesthetics and are more homages to the works created by AMADON.
Each X Figure starts as a sketch. either sketched on Procreate on the IPAD, or directly in Photoshop via a Huion Kanvas drawing screen. The sketches are loose, they are ways to break the conventional suggestions of AI and insert my own personal visions for these figures. The sketches are then processed through a variety of AI tools, either Nano Banana, Midjourney, Z Image, Seedream 4.0. Each AI excels at specific types of figures or characters. The inspiration textures are used in the process with the sketches to create an holistic vision of what the final digital figure will look like.
Inspired by blind box figures. X FIGURES takes inspiration from a range of toys and figures, from action figures, to gacha figures. X FIGURES uses the visual language of figurines to tell stories about the works they are inspired by.
