Exploring wild places in solitude every day, I observe things that normally go unnoticed. Animal interactions are common and I spot day-to-day changes in the land and its inhabitants. Returning to my studio to paint extends that sense of how it feels to be immersed in the natural world, vulnerable, yet uninhibited and fully connected. 

“Becoming Wild” is a collection of hand-made, IRL paintings photographed and digitally worked like a canvas. High res images, 1/1, unique in the world, each with narrative detail.
